If anyone knows where to buy Hansen online, let me know. Very cool SS collection. The need for this tux shirt is making me anxious.

Great stuff from Goteborg, Sweden. This is their PDF catalogue…
Made in Japan, orSlow’s focus is on quality custom fabrics, strong construction and classic styling. A refreshingly simple collection, the orSlow brand offers a well–designed line of products, which utilize the wealth of knowledge and experience in vintage military and workwear products, gained by the collection’s designer Ichiro Nakasu.
This is an exact reproduction of the first non- pant garment produced by Levi’s’ a heavy weight 9oz denim jumper that was originally made for hard working men of the American West during the early days of Levi Strauss & Co.
The garment has exposed copper rivets placed on top of the pockets and branded sewn on buttons. Made for miners who toiled deep below ground in candle-lit shafts, this simple but extremely durable shirt is made of only two 9oz 2x1 denim squares. Almost no fabric is wasted in the construction of the shirt.
The Border Panel Oxford B.D Shirt is Uniform Experiment’s spring/summer seasonal reinterpretation of a brand favourite with a classic nautical inspired border pattern in a gradient configuration adorning the chest pocket and the entire rear panel of the shirt. The striking piece includes functional elements in the rear collar button, locker loop, and their unique 1+1 chest pocket. The perfect fusing of function and form.
After many years of coveting Japanese made and crafted products I have at last found a way to get them…relatively easily. Shoping for Japanese goods on Japanese sites is really hard work and generally a pursuit reserved for dedicated followers of these rare and special brands. Why the Japanese workwear/outdoor/hunting brands are so good is an article too long for now. Though I will say that once you go down this road you will be hooked and understand why on the whole they do it better than all the rest :-)
Many of these brands can be found throughout Pelican Fossa and its worth going back a few months to check them out.
Recently I got chatting to John Lofgren after buying a cap from their Ebay store; an american expat living and working in Sendai, Japan. John runs a shop called Speedway and though the site is predominantly in Japanese its easy to navigate through. Anything you like just drop John an email and he will sort it out.
John Lofgren also produces some very fine goods in his own name. All made in Japan with premium materials, meticulously made with many relevant historical details.
Images below are some treasures I have picked out from his current stock.

KAPITAL is a label well known for it’s secrecy and is rarely found outside the Japan stores. Handcrafted items, fabric craftsmanship, vintage clothing designs and Japanese cult denim.
KAPITAL are the father and son duo Toshikiyo (TH) and Kazuhiro (Kiro) Hirata. Their personalities, work ethic, and values are always present in their work. All collections offers a soft mix of Western, Navajo, Amish, Eskimo, Scottish and Military traditions which all blends into a Japanese rustic yet modern re-creation.
Detailing in the form of traditional Japanese Boro and tattoo inspired embroidery, silver concho buttons on heavyweight knitwear, incredible raw denim and patchwork faded indigo.

Kapital can by found in these stores.
